Chapter Vertical

Business, Finance & Entrepreneurship.

Owners, financiers and operators building enterprises — and the capital, counsel and customers that let them compound.

Enterprise & capital

Business, Finance & Entrepreneurship.

Commerce is where a community either compounds its strength or scatters it. This council exists so that a member’s business is never one introduction away from being solved.

The Business, Finance & Entrepreneurship Council is the chapter-level counterpart to the Brahmin Business Network. Where BBN is the platform — the directory, the circles, the listings — this council is the people: the owners, CAs, bankers, CFOs and investors who meet, vet, mentor and buy from one another inside a chapter.

What this vertical does

Six areas of work.

01

Business mentorship circles

Small peer groups where owners bring real numbers and real problems.

02

Access to capital

Introductions to lenders, angels and family offices within the federation.

03

Financial & tax counsel

Chartered accountants and advisors serving member enterprises.

04

Trade & procurement

Member-to-member buying, supply partnerships and tender information.

05

Succession & governance

Family-business transition, boards, and keeping an enterprise beyond one founder.

06

First-generation founders

Structured support for members starting without a family business behind them.

How a vertical runs

The same structure in every chapter.

Verticals are departments of the federation, not features of a membership. No member pays to belong to one: every member of a chapter may join any vertical whose work they can contribute to.

STEP 1Council

Every chapter constitutes the vertical as a standing council with its own convenor and members.

STEP 2Charter

The council agrees a yearly charter — what it will run, for whom, and how it will be judged.

STEP 3Programme

It runs its own calendar of sessions, clinics, camps and referrals through the year.

STEP 4Account

It reports to the chapter and to the federation, so the work is visible and comparable.
