The International Brahmin Federation is a federation — not a head office. Existing sabhas, samajes, trusts and associations join as chapters and keep running themselves exactly as they do today.
Two constitutions, and neither one replaces the other.
This is the part most organisations want settled before anything else, so it is worth saying plainly. The Federation has its own constitution. It governs what we do together — how chapters are recognised, how the federation's officers are elected, how we represent the community collectively.
Your organisation keeps its own constitution. It governs what you do internally — your members, your committee, your elections, your funds, your programmes, your property. Becoming a chapter does not amend it, override it, or ask you to adopt ours in its place.

A federation is an association of self-governing bodies. Affiliation adds a layer above your organisation; it does not reach down inside it.
A local body, inside a global one.
Most of our chapters were already doing good work long before they met us. What they did not have was reach beyond their own city.

Your members are recognised across every chapter — for introductions, business referrals, professional advice and help when they move or travel.
Shared programmes without shared overheads
Scholarships, youth and women's leadership, skill development and the chapter verticals run federation-wide. You opt into what fits.
A voice at a larger table
On matters affecting the community, one organisation speaks for its city. A federation speaks for all of them at once.
Working tools, not paperwork
Member records, events, communication and your own chapter website — run on the federation's platform at no cost to your chapter.
Your identity intact
You continue under your own name. "Chapter of the International Brahmin Federation" is added to it, not substituted for it.
An exit that is not a fight
Affiliation is by resolution and can be ended by resolution. Nothing of yours transfers to the federation, so nothing has to be recovered.

A chapter is normally an existing registered body — a sabha, samaj, mandal, trust, society or association already serving its community. We also recognise new chapters where no organisation yet exists in a city or country, and will help a founding group constitute itself properly first.
What we look for is simple: a genuine membership, people willing to hold office, and an intention to serve the community rather than an individual interest.
