Delete Your Account
How to request deletion of your Ekam-Vipra account and the personal data held with it.
This page applies to Ekam-Vipra, the official mobile app of the International Brahmin Federation, and to the account you use to sign in to it. Deleting your account also removes your access to the Federation’s member services on this website.
1. How to Request Deletion
Use the account deletion request form. It asks for the name, email address and mobile number on your membership, and what you want removed, so we can identify the right account and act on it.
If you would rather not use the form, send us an email from the address registered on your account:
Write to info@brahminfederation.org
Use the subject line “Delete my account”
Include the name and the mobile number on your membership so we can identify the right account
We confirm the request with you first, so that nobody else can have your account deleted. If you cannot write from your registered address, say so in the email and we will verify your identity another way.
2. What Is Deleted
Once the request is confirmed, we delete:
Your sign-in account and profile — name, email address, mobile number and profile photo
Your membership and chapter record, and your event registrations
Messages you sent or received through the app
Photos and files you uploaded, including images added to a shareable design
Deletion is completed within 30 days of the confirmed request. It cannot be undone — to use the app again afterwards you would have to register as a new member.
3. What We Keep, and For How Long
A small amount of information is kept after deletion, only where the law requires it or where it no longer identifies you:
Donation and accounting records, which the Federation is legally required to retain for the period prescribed by law
Anonymised counts, such as how many people attended an event, which no longer identify any individual
Backups, from which your data is removed as the backups rotate, within 90 days
4. Deleting Only Some of Your Data
You do not have to delete your whole account. Write to us at the same address and tell us what you want removed — for example your profile photo, an uploaded image, or your phone number — and we will remove it and keep your membership intact.
